What do I actually get for $1,497?
A directory listing built to rank in Google and get cited by AI search tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity), independent verification of your identity, domain, and policies, a live trust seal, and membership in a growing network of other verified operators. Verification is what qualifies you, the listing and the network are the point.
I already do my own SEO. Why do I need this?
You don't need it to rank for your own name, you already can. You need it for the searches where a buyer doesn't know your name yet and is checking who's real before they buy, or increasingly, asking an AI assistant instead of Googling at all. A KBS listing is a separate, independently verified page pointing back at you, not a replacement for your own SEO, one more real asset in a category most of your competitors haven't touched.
What if my application is rejected?
Applications that do not meet identity or operational verification standards enter a flag-and-hold review queue. Our verification team provides clear feedback. Unapproved applications do not receive an active seal.
Is the membership fee refundable?
Your $1,497 covers verification review and your full first year of membership, charged together as one payment when you apply. It's refundable within 30 days of approval if KBS isn't a fit.
What happens if I stop paying or my subscription cancels?
If subscription dues fail or are cancelled, your account state transitions to past_due, then suspended or revoked. The live trust seal embedded on your website automatically deactivates and displays an invalid status.
How long does the verification process take?
Domain control and policy checks run automatically upon submission. Identity verification completes instantly as soon as you submit your Stripe Identity session.
Does KBS verification work for businesses outside the United States?
Yes. KBS accepts international applications from over 30 countries supported by Stripe Identity and official business registry systems.
