What is the difference between a course, a membership and a mastermind?
An online course teaches a defined skill through recorded lessons, usually for a one-time price. A membership charges monthly or yearly for ongoing content, tools or support. A paid community is built around access to people: discussion, accountability and networking. A group program or mastermind adds live sessions with a coach and a small group of peers, often over a set number of weeks or months.
Many offers mix these. Read what is actually included: lessons, live calls, direct access to the creator, the community, and how long you keep access.
How do you choose an online course or membership?
Look past the sales page. Ask how much content exists today, not what is planned, and whether you can see a sample. For a community or membership, ask how active it is right now and who runs it day to day. For a mastermind, ask who is in the group and how members are selected.
Recurring billing raises the stakes. Read the cancellation terms before you pay, and check that you can cancel yourself without emailing anyone.

Check who is behind it, that the site you pay on belongs to them, and that a refund policy and support contact are published before you buy. A KBS verification record confirms these. Then judge the content from a sample lesson and student reviews.
What is a mastermind group?
A mastermind is a small group of peers who meet regularly, usually with a host or coach, to share problems, ideas and accountability. Paid masterminds range from online groups to in-person events. Ask who the other members are and how the group is run.
Can I cancel a membership at any time?
That depends on the operator's terms. Some allow cancellation anytime, others require notice or a minimum term. Every verified member publishes their terms, so read the cancellation section before you join.
Is a paid community worth it?
It is worth it when the people in it are where you want to be and the community is active. Ask how many members post each week, how quickly questions get answered, and whether the creator still takes part.
What does verification mean?
KBS checks three things: the identity of the person behind the business, control of the domain they claim, and that a refund policy, terms of service and a working support contact are published and reachable. Those checks are re-run while a membership is active.
